Kids learn three things in Kid Quest every week.

I can trust God no matter what.

I need to make the wise choice.

I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Check-in

When your family arrives at TLJC you can bring your kids to the check-in table.  Here you will receive a security card with a number on it and that number will be assigned to your child and written on their name tag.  At the check-in table you will find out what Life Group your child will be in that day.  Once your child has been check in, they can head into our Kid Quest environment where they are greeted by their Life Group leader. 

Life Groups

Children are placed in Life Groups by their grade.  Your child will have a blast hanging out with their Life Group while their Life Group leader introduces them to this month’s virtue and today’s lesson.  The first 15 minutes of Life Group, the kids participate with their Life Group in  an activity that introduces them to the bottom line We want them to walk away remembering that morning.  Kids will hear about the bottom line again in Large Group and Kid Quest Live. 

Once Large Group is over, the children return to their Life Groups.  The Life Group leaders then help the kids understand how the day’s bottom line can fit into their lives using captivating questions and even more exciting games and activities.  Our children’s ministry and Life Group leaders are passionate about helping kids have a blast and teaching them how God’s word fits into their lives.  Each Sunday, the children are in the same Life Group with the same children so they have a chance to build strong friendships that will matter when your kids need it the most. 

Large Group

Large Group is a fun and exciting time where all the Life Groups come together to have a Bible story presented to them in a creative and engaging way.  We use crazy props, characters from the Bible story, and a lot of comedy to help bring the story to life for the kids.  The kids hear the bottom line again in Large Group which gives them another chance to remember the simple truth that can change their lives.
